All of these modalities are used in combination during an Integrative Bodywork Session.

The modalities applied are extremely soft, gentle, non-aggressive, and pain-free. These are nervous-system-based techniques, the goal of which is to take the body out of a Sympathetic-based state (fight or flight) and into a parasympathetic-based state (rest and digest.)

I work to listen to the client's nervous system and find where it requires balance, doing so in a way that relaxes the CNS and makes it feel safe and supported.

When the nervous system feels safe it will fall into parasympathetic mode, allowing the healing pathways and fluids of the body to open up and find balance.

A combination of the following techniques are used to decrease pain and inflammation:

-Neuromyofascial soft-stretch therapy, a non-aggressive modality to help those with chronic pain.

-Lymphatic Drainage Treatment , different then a lymphatic massage it, is meant to be applied therapeutically.

- Effective as a preventive treatment and also as a post-op rehab treatment, post-cancer treatment, and ongoing therapy for disorders that involve the immune system or cause chronic swelling, pain, and fatigue.

  • Also ideal for post-whiplash, pre-, and post-oral surgery, and post-concussion.

-Craniosacral therapy / Vagal Nerve treatment. These two therapies help balance fascial tension, improve cerebral spinal fluid balance and flow, and assist in balancing the regulation of the nervous system by targeting the parasympathetic system.

  • Also ideal for post-whiplash, pre-, and post-oral surgery, and post-concussion.

- Cupping / Gua Sha . Assist in releasing tension and moving stagnant fluids.

- Infrared Light Therapy. Decreases pain and inflammation, increases blood flow and circulation, helps your cells recover faster speeding up recovery time, aids in decreasing muscle soreness, assist in wound healing and muscle soreness.
